For more than 10 years she’s worked as a news reporter, producer, anchor, writer, on-camera host, social media strategist and producer, creative lead, and more.
Her work spans topics as serious as the explosion of QAnon during the pandemic and how the undocumented population of Flint was affected by the city’s water crisis, to explaining why the U.S. is so bad at taking vacations and the bizarre history of period products.
Natalie’s work can be found at Jessica Yellin’s News Not Noise, ATTN:, Vice, The Obama Foundation, local TV news stations in Flint, MI and Rock Island, IL and more.
Before jumping into journalism and media Natalie considered a career in the museum and academic world and interned at the Smithsonian Institution. Her lifelong love of learning combined with a passion for history informs all her work, especially her role as an interviewer.
Natalie has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Emerson College, is a fluent Spanish-speaker, a first generation Cuban-American, and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
When she’s not working you can probably find Natalie outside riding her bike, hiking, jogging, or walking. Indoor interests include reading three books at once, playing piano, and working on a craft like knitting, crocheting, sewing, and needlework.
